Ah nothing like the feeling of being awakened due to the fact that you can’t breathe. That was me about 30 minutes ago, thanks to me choking on blood that had pooled in my throat. How I managed to cut my lip during my dreamless sleep confuses me. Furthermore it’s not really a big cut, but it’s bleeding quite substantially.
The thing is now my bedroom looks like a crime scene. If you’ve ever choked before, you’re probably aware of the fact that you tend to sputter whatever may be within your mouth as you gasp for air.
It’s like an involuntary spitting out of water when someone tells a funny joke. Alas, there is nothing funny about spitting out blood. It stains. After spending the whole day cleaning, here I am awake cleaning my own mixture of blood and saliva.

It’s sad sometimes when you realize how many people you pass by in a day. Everyone seems so isolated these days, within our own personal realms. We entrench ourselves between a wall of sound fueled by our various music playing devices.
Ever since I started taking public transportation again I’ve become one of those music bumping, book reading kind of people. The ones that disappear amongst the many other people, invisible to the outside world…or so we would like to believe.

Everyone goes through phases in their life and everyone categorizes all these areas in their mind differently. It’s always been a curiosity how someone qualifies a time of their life belonging to the present or the past.
For example. Despite the technical accuracy of yesterday being in my past, I wouldn’t fully consider it to be the past in the grand scheme of my life. There are segments, my school years, my youth, my growing up, my first job, my first car, my run away years, my disillusioned years, etc.

I finally got the chance to watch this film and boy I must say…wow. Ben Affleck might not be known as a great actor, but you have to remember him and his buddy Matt Damon did write that great movie Good Will Hunting.
Well I think this certainly seals the deal that Affleck is far better on the other end of the camera. This movie was his directorial debut and it’s certainly a intense movie without exhausting you.
