the notebook

first of all. it’s a great movie. just not for me. not now at least. who knows if ever.

it was the type of good movie that evoked a hell of a lot of painful memories for me. good thing i was prepared with a cap that i could pull down low. yes i’ll man up and admit it…okay not in writing but in innuendo…you can figure it out.

it’s strange when a movie depicts certain situations that you’ve been through yourself. unfortunately your life didn’t play out the same way. i’ve always believed somewhere deep down that dedication usually brings fruitful things, however i couldn’t bare keeping it up. one of life’s horrible gambles.

don’t get me wrong memories are great and i’ll never relinquish any of them. whether they be good, bad, happy, sad, painful, or pleasurable…they’re all we have as people that can’t be taken. however i just wish sometimes we could turn em off…so you wouldn’t have to deal with the associated emotions..in this case..grief. bloody hell i’m ready to self-lobotomize. okay maybe not that extreme. just didn’t expect a movie to reach in to the hat and pull out this memory that was scrawled out on a raggedy piece of paper.

tomorrow’s another day..hopefully this will go away.

i hate raymond chan

i hate raymond chan. not only because of his shallow lack of a back bone but also cuz he disrupts traffic! twice this week…once in the morning whilst rallying for support along one of the busiest routes out of richmond…

and then today…who gives a flip if you won..i don’t care that you’re thanking me..i certainly wouldn’t have voted for you… now you’re holding up the freaking afternoon traffic! honestly!

you bastard if there’s one reason why you shouldn’t have voted for him..that’s it right there…he fucks up the traffic on russ baker way. you just don’t do that….hardworking citizens, students of the various post secondary institutions, people who are late to the airport…it’s such a vital road!

don’t see any other candidates out there? they just go out there put up their little signs and that’s it…

so jazz festival started today….

and drum roll..tomorrow farenheit 9/11 comes out…as well ast he public opening of the new “River Rock Casino Resort” in richmond..it’s licensed to serve alcohol on the game floor!

true vegas style…entertainment/hotel is still waiting to be completed in 2005 though..but whatever hahaha

unimaginable fun

so there’s this hilariously stupid board game called apples to apples…it’s so bad that it’s good. it’s moto “the game of unimaginable comparisons” … how can that be? obviously you make comparisons in this game..and you imagine them… it’s all a giant oxymoron…it’s great!

so now i’m in pursuit of finding things that are unimaginably fun. things that are so fun i don’t know that i’m having fun.

things that are so clever they’re stupid.

things that fit right in with your life..but make no sense whatsoever. bwahaha.
