fiddle faddle

this weekend consisted of packed events. first work to kick it off on a saturday morning where i followed it up with my grandma’s birthday. i absolutely had no idea what to get her…what do you get an 83 year old who has everything and wants nothing, and needs nothing? well i ended up just giving her 60 bucks…and a bag of two-bite brownies. she liked the brownies.

the highlight was at dinner time, when we ate at griffen’s at hotel vancouver. there was this table of girls next to us celebrating a birthday. you could tell they were the group of girls that have been together since highschool, never really got much attention and now have an unhealthy view of themselves. yes we all know a similar group.

well anyways they were bantering on about how guys fall head over heals for them (a key sign of a view askew) and the birthday girl was in one of those dresses that basically looks like a negligee…

you shoulda seen the dirty faces my grandma was flashing..she went on her rant all in chinese about how she was an “easy” girl that was like a store that was wide open for anyone to enter, you know the typical chinese grandma stuff…she goes on to describe all this in chinese and then leans in close to me and goes..in english you guys call them…”cheee-pph” … i nearly spewed my fish across the table. did you just say “CHEAP!?” hahaha my grandma is too funny…her english is very limited but she always pops the funniest words out at the funniest times.

after my grandma’s birthday was an all-you-can-drink fiasco at also lounge for a birthday party. it’s been so long since i’ve drank so much, 2 shots of crown, 3 shots of some “special shooter”, a kokanee to filter the 6 shots of beefeater, a lychitini, some other wack drink..who knows…

got home at 4 strangely awoke at 7:30 / 8:00 ish forced myself to sleep some more till 10 and was completely okay, no hangover…so it is true… high quality hard liqour is far better than beers/cocktails when it comes to leaving you without a headache…

anyways i’m quite excited about portage…i may need to splurge on a pair of top sevens a la howie to ring it in.

hence all the overtime hours i’m working this week hehehehe.
wow it’s been forever since i’ve drank so much.

update

so i’m slowly adding content to this site. tonight was the first time i got breathalised for being honest. i seriously only had one beer! ah well i blew triple 0′s anyways.

but on the other hand i’ve updated my wishlists with subscriptions to sites i really like.

claim or not to claim

my car got scratched by the idiot behind me who can’t drive. now i’m debating whether to report it or not…i don’t want my premiums increasing..but i think the only way for it to look okay is to repaint the whole bumper…but now my car is at that age where i suppose i could just leave it till it gets REALLY bad or i’m gonna trade in etc to do the pain maybe?

but i also have the guy’s license plate so maybe i should claim it just to go FUCK YOU you irresponsible bastard…
