so ended up going out to purchase a new digital camera…the canon a95. brand new on the market loaded with features. only draw back… AA batteries. *groan* oh well.

also applying for 2 new internal positions at work. i hope i get both of them. pay increase and less customers. yay!

so much happening. keep your eyes peeled for my new 365 project.

not a child

Demon or bird! (said the boy’s soul,)
Is it indeed toward your mate you sing? or is it really to me?
For I, that was a child, my tongue’s use sleeping, now I have heard you,
Now in a moment I know what I am for, I awake,
And already a thousand singers, a thousand songs, clearer, louder and more sorrowful than yours,
A thousand warbling echoes have started to life within me, never to die.

O you singer solitary, singing by yourself, projecting me,
O solitary me listening, never more shall I cease perpetuating you,
Never more shall I escape, never more the reverberations,
Never more the cries of unsatisfied love be absent from me,
Never again leave me to be the peaceful child I was before what there in the night,
By the sea under the yellow and sagging moon,
The messenger there arous’d, the fire, the sweet hell within,
The unknown want, the destiny of me.

new inspiration

so i’ve got a new outlook on where i’m at. i’m not going to settle for anything. i think i may have said this before, but this time i’m backing it up with action.

starting first with my new site design. yes i finally pulled through and put a design up IN TIME for the actualy season! haha that’s all thanks to inspiration from and t.dang. hehe.

next i’m actually checking out some schools…maybe head back for some more in depth film studies.

what i’m currently doing now is i’m trying to apply for 2 new internal positions that opened up at rogers. i hope i get it. i’d be nice to stop dealing with customers so much haha.

anyways my photo project seems to be picking up a good pace too which i’m happy with, i still have yet to start the “firestarter” project with the boys. it shall come though. slowly.

in the mean time i may disappear from the city a little more often hehe.

strange and queer things i’ve seen recently. hitchhikers. there seems to be more and more city hitchhikers. i saw one in surrey, and yes some of you are probably going to say that’s expected but i saw one on granville in vancouver too.

the messed up thing isn’t that they’re hitchhiking, but the fact that it seems the unspoken rule is you must hitchhike within 5 metres of a bus stop…

why don’t you just beg for bus change while you’re at it? bus stops seem to be the modern day watering hole. hookers gather there. hitchhikers. hitchhiking hookers. oh hell anybody quite honestly.

and then there seems to be a rise in the amount of handicapped individuals motoring along on the street in their motorized wheel chairs. yes i’ve ranted on this before…but it seems they hibernate in summer and come out in crummy weather. you know when it’s dark early and when it’s the easiest to run these dumbasses over. maybe it’s the depressing weather they just wanna kill themselves so they drive their little carts on the road instead of the sidewalk.

once again, that’s what the city has invested all that money into putting ramps on sidewalks for…the handicapped people. it’s so you don’t get your ass run over on the street. just cuz your wheelchair is propelled doesn’t mean you belong.

i’m also sick of the let’s not call them “disabled” or “handicapped” politically correct terminology let’s call them “differently-abled” instead. what the fuck? they are DIS-abled. they have the dis-ability of walking. they’re crippled. call me heartless, but i’m not i’m stating the facts. tell me how a person who’s confined to a wheel chair is differently-abled? what ability do they all of a sudden possess that i as an able-bodied person do not?

do they all of a sudden have the ability to manuever a joystick that propels a chair on wheels? last time i checked i could sit in one of those things as well and wiggle a joystick.

what different ability do they have? they make it sound like disabled people are mutants out of some comic, social outcasts that have some sort of special ability to levitate shit with their minds. they’re not professor X i’m sorry.

i’m sorry but i don’t know a single disabled person who MINDS being called disabled. well at least the ones that have good self-esteem and are okay with themselves. whoever came up with the bright idea to call them differently-abled so that they could feel better about themselves is full of crap.

if i was disabled and someone told me i was differently-abled, i’d examine myself realize that i’m not and feel worse off.

i think we should just do away with sugar coating anything, political correctness is retarded (
