I think everyone at one point in time or another has either been or has themselves tailgated. I live in a city notorious for it’s horrible drivers. It has even been the centre of a province wide scandal of road test examiners being bought off for licenses.
Anyways, through the years I’ve encountered numerous instances of being tailgated (and yes – tailgated myself). How I’ve reacted to being tailgated has also varied quite a bit as I’ve spent more time on the road.

“Beautiful Losers” has wrapped up and was quite a success. I’m hoping it’ll make its way over from Milan to our shores here sometime. It was essentially an art exhibit that showcased art from the fringe. Art that draws upon inspiration and returns back to the fringe. I just got back from the premiering fashion show for my friend Melissa’s new line “Love, Deming”. Love, Deming is a family endeavor by Melissa, her sister Katie and mother Becki. Tonight was the unvealing of their Fall Winter 2006 collection “Rich In Mercy”
This also reminded me of my sister’s endeavors into the fashion world with her various jewelry collections.

Since it was raining today instead of going mosaic hunting I ended up going to Granville Island where there are more covered areas that I could check out. In the pursuit of free art to look at I ended up at the Emily Carr Graduation Show that’s going on.
There were a lot of visual art pieces with a little bit of media / animation art mixed in. I have to say that there are some very talented artists coming out of that school.

So there’s one more week left of the Cannes Film Festival and there’s a lot of great competitors for the Palme d’Or this year. There’s a couple of directors I have my eye on. First and foremost would be Sofia Coppola she’s lived up to the pressures of her famous surname quite well with The Virgin Suicides and Lost In Translation.
