So I received this book as a Christmas gift and it’s a relatively quick read. The content however is mighty clever. It’s written by Scott Adams, who I’m sure you’re probably familiar with his work. He’s the creator of Dilbert. Yup that witty office humour that everyone can relate to.
After reading this book Scott Adams is someone I’ll have to add to my continuing fascination with humourists who are incredibly talented and clever when it comes to more serious things. I’m determined to figure out the correlation. I mainly witness it with media celebrities. Perhaps it’s simply raw talent, but take these few people for example. This is to the customs agent at the Pacific Highway border crossing (the truck crossing). In case you do actually check me out further, I do blog about my travels. When you asked me if I would blog about you, I told you I would. So here it is, me blogging about you and how you made it such a smooth and humorous crossing into the United States. In case you haven’t seen me easter-egging up your flickr account yet this season check out the wonderful fun you can have with your friends (or strangers). If you add a note to their photo with either “ho ho ho hat” or “ho ho ho beard” it’ll add an image of a Santa hat or beard respectively. You can see this example with a photo of my friend Joe.

Even my parents have started to send less and less Christmas cards. I remember in years past when in November my mom would have a stack of cards and envelopes on the dining room table after dinner. My job was to seal the envelopes and lick the stamps, now all the stamps are stickers and it doesn’t take numerous nights to write cards.

On the tail of processing my whole Mexico experience I’ve been trying to re-assess my perspectives and views once again. Things have definitely been a little odd lately and life has been acting up. I think there’s a reason why life doesn’t come with a “strange occurance return policy”.
