So the guys over at WordPress have released a major update. It’s version 2.1 of the popular blogging platform (what powers this blog). Named after the popular musician and one of my personal faves Ella Fitzgerald.
I’m looking forward to the autosaving feature since I’ve definitely lost numerous posts. Although I’m a little weary to install it at this point for fear of the plugins I have installed breaking.

Well I’ve finally had a solid month of use on my new tires and I must say that they’re simply amazing. They should have come standard with the vehicle instead of those crummy Firestones that initially came with my Honda. They also kick butt compared to the slippery piece of crap Dunlop Axiom tires I had previously.
Price wise they’re affordable so to speak at an average $150 for the size I needed for my vehicle compared to the Dunlops which were $125 at the time I bought them. They’re top rated according to customer satisfaction and basically the top tire from GoodYear.

I think “It sounded like gun shots!” is probably the most annoying cliche in news these days. It’s usually used by witnesses to some sort of newsworthy event. In case you haven’t heard, the BC Place Stadium roof deflated yesterday due to high winds and a tear in the roof.
This was the first time I’ve heard anyone use “It sounded like gunshots!” to describe a big flapping piece of roof. How about “It sounded like a giant piece of fabric flapping in the wind!”?
