Once again the viral marketing company Matchstick has so kindly sent me a free Samsung T10 Mp3 player. I was sent the 2GB Black version to check out. That’s right, for you faithful readers they’re the same marketing company that sent me the Nokia 6682 that I wrote about. If you read a lot of Vancouver blogs you’ll probably notice a few others are participating in this as well. Like Rebecca over at Miss 604.
So there’s my disclaimer, you can now proceed and form your own judgment based on my impressions of this player.
I’ve been a little slow with posting about this particular player as I wanted to get a real thorough run through of this player. Since I received this slightly before it became commercially available I decided to see wait to see what it would be priced at as well.

So I just bought a microwave today and low and behold I learn something new. I learned it from reading the manual. Yes, I was that bored.
Who needs a manual to function a microwave? I mean they’ve pretty much worked the same for the past 20 years. Punch in a time and punch in start. Who out there actually uses those extra fancy buttons? I don’t know a soul that uses any of those buttons. The auto defrost, popcorn popper and reheat buttons rarely ever work. Unless it’s a crazy expensive one that has all those fancy sensors to automatically cook things.
Well what I did surprisingly learn from the manual was how to tell if dishes are safe for use in a microwave.

Yes it’s been a long time. I’m not dead, it’s just the migration from one computer to an external hard drive to losing this hard drive’s power cable to migrating to another computer sorta throws you off.
I’ll be back soon, once I sort this all out.

People keep telling me I won’t miss it till it’s gone in respect to various things. I think I’m operating on some weird plane of existence right now, because honestly I’m not missing much of anything at this point in time. Perhaps it’s my whirlwind adventure of wrapping up one chapter of life and starting a new one in a short period of time.
Combine this with the fact that I’m sick and coughing up a storm and I think it’s pretty clear I just don’t have the time to miss much. I’m sure it’ll eventually come trickling down the line and then at that point I hope I have established myself well enough that I don’t fall into some wacky depressive state.

I was just reading about a friend’s quarter-life crisis experience and was reminded of my own not too long ago. In fact it’s been coming and going in waves for the past little while. I’ve come to realize in our society it’s pretty much normal. It’s just the culture we’re raised in here. In fact I posted about my little episode last year.
It’s quite odd to look back and read that now. Realizing that my feelings on some issues have stayed the same and with others have completely changed.
